Psycho-Educational Testing
How Can Testing Help?
Psychoeducational testing is a detailed evaluation that assesses a person’s cognitive abilities, academic skills, and emotional functioning to better understand how they learn. It can also help to clarify diagnoses such as ADHD, specific learning disabilities, and mood issues that may impact learning and development.
What to Expect
For parents and examinees, the process typically involves an initial interview, completion of questionnaires, and a series of standardized tests covering areas like intelligence, memory, attention, reading, writing, and math. The assessment is conducted in a supportive environment and usually takes several hours over one or more sessions.
Afterward, you will receive a comprehensive report and a feedback session to discuss the results, answer questions, and provide recommendations for educational planning and support.
